In the psychedelic animated film Yellow Submarine, the peaceful land of Pepperland is taken over by the music-hating Blue Meanies, who freeze everyone in the land, including the beloved Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. Fearful for their home, Captain Fred and his Yellow Submarine embark on a mission to recruit the legendary Beatles to help save Pepperland.
