While You Were Sleeping is a heartwarming romantic comedy set in Chicago. Lucy, a lonely Transit Authority token collector, has secretly developed a crush on a handsome commuter named Peter. One day, Peter is mugged and pushed onto the train tracks, where he falls into a coma. In a twist of fate, Lucy saves Peter's life and is mistaken for his fiancée by his family.
