Details
Warren is an original comedy series that follows the life of Warren Thompson, a pedantic driving instructor who believes that the world is always against him. Played by Martin Clunes, Warren is forced to move from the south to Preston when his partner Anne's father becomes ill. This sudden change leaves Warren in a place he dislikes, doing a job that he is not emotionally suited for, and taking care of two teenage stepsons that he never wanted.
Warren's love for Anne shines through, despite his many flaws. Anne sees the good in Warren, even when others find him irritating. However, Warren's habit of always thinking he knows best and speaking his mind always leads to conflict, chaos, and disaster for those around him, and especially for himself.
Rather than accepting the concept of growing old gracefully, Warren continues to defy the world and try to fix the perceived wrongs against him. However, his attempts always end in failure, leaving him with no happy endings.
In this comedy series, Warren will grapple with a variety of problems and misunderstandings of his own making, leaving viewers in stitches as they watch his misadventures unfold.
