Set in the year 2010, Thunderbirds follows the story of Alan Tracy, the youngest of Jeff Tracy's sons. Jeff, a retired American astronaut, is the founder of International Rescue, a secret organization dedicated to saving lives using advanced technology. As a widower, Jeff has raised his sons to be a part of this mission.
Together with his older sons John, Virgil, Scott, and Gordon, who are all named after the Mercury Seven astronauts, Jeff and the Tracy boys work alongside Lady Penelope and her butler, Parker. Lady Penelope and Parker contribute their skills and resources to International Rescue's operations.
The team's base is located on Tracy Island, somewhere in the Pacific, and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology developed by a brilliant scientist named Brains. They combine their specialized skills and cutting-edge equipment to carry out daring rescues worldwide.
As Alan embarks on his own journey, attending a boarding school far from home, he must navigate the challenges of being the youngest member of the Thunderbirds team. With danger and adventure lurking around every corner, the Tracy family and their allies are always ready to spring into action to save those in need.
