Details
In The Dark Knight Rises, set eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, Batman finds himself forced out of his self-imposed exile. With the help of the mysterious Catwoman, Batman must confront the new threat to Gotham City: Bane, a brutal and merciless guerrilla terrorist.
The city has enjoyed a period of relative peace and prosperity, thanks to the Dent Act, which has suppressed organized crime. However, Bane has devised a plan to not only destroy Batman but also unleash chaos on Gotham. As the city descends into chaos, Batman must confront his physical and mental limitations and rise to the challenge to save Gotham.
As the tension and stakes escalate, Bruce Wayne is forced to confront his own fears, while also discovering the true strength of those around him. The film explores themes of redemption, sacrifice, and the power of hope.
