The Book of Eli

In the movie The Book of Eli, set in a violent post-apocalyptic society, a mysterious drifter named Eli has been trekking westwards across North America for three decades. Surviving by hunting small animals and scavenging for supplies in ruined buildings and vehicles, he carries a precious book that he guards with his life.
