The story centers around Brandi, an ambitious and troubled young woman played by Mena Suvari. After a night of partying, Brandi accidentally hits Tom, an unfortunate homeless man portrayed by Stephen Rea. Consumed by fear and panic, Brandi makes an impulsive decision to leave the scene, leaving Tom severely injured and stuck in her windshield.
