Samurai Marathon (2019) takes place during a time when American imperialists are threatening to invade Japan. In order to evaluate and prepare his troops, the lord of the land organizes a marathon that spans various terrains such as shores, forests, and mountains. However, the shogunate in Edo disapproves of this event and views it with skepticism, sending spies and moles to investigate. One of the moles soon realizes the misunderstanding and becomes determined to prevent unnecessary loss of lives and alliances.
