In the movie Mission Kathmandu: The Adventures of Nelly & Simon set in Quebec City in 1956, Nelly Maloye, a novice detective, and Simon Picard, an ambitious research assistant in anthropology, accidentally meet each other. Encouraged by a fame-seeking philanthropist, the two embark on an exciting quest to prove the existence of the Abominable Snowman. Simon has a coded diary from a missing explorer that he believes will lead them to the creature's lair.
