In the movie Life or Something Like It (2002), Lanie Kerrigan, an ambitious reporter, finds herself at a crossroads when she interviews a homeless psychic named Jack for a lighthearted news segment. To her surprise, Jack predicts that her life is meaningless and that she only has a few days left to live.
