Details
In the movie Gold Dust (2020), two lifelong friends embark on a daring journey along the border with Mexico. Their goal is to find a legendary ghost ship that is said to be buried in the desert sand. Armed with old maps and ancient stories, they are determined to uncover the hidden treasure that lies beneath the surface.
However, their search is complicated by the presence of Mexican drug lords who now operate in the area. These ruthless criminals use a fleet of children flying ultra light airplanes to transport heroin, a modern form of gold dust, across the border.
As their dreams of finding the treasure become tantalizingly close, the two friends are faced with a difficult decision. They must choose between their own desires and what they know is morally right. Their path becomes even more treacherous when they discover a young girl held captive by the drug lord, forcing them to risk their lives to save her.
Gold Dust is an exhilarating adventure filled with ghostly legends, treacherous mirages, and shattered dreams. Against the backdrop of the awe-inspiring desert, the duo must confront a dangerous villain who is both deadly and elegant.
