Details
In Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2005), set two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, a deadly disease called 'Geostigma' is spreading throughout the planet. This disease is believed to be a result of the body's reaction to foreign material that invaded it at the end of the previous installment. Cloud Strife, the guilt-ridden protagonist and former soldier, has chosen to live in seclusion away from his friends. He now runs Strife's Delivery Service from Tifa Lockheart's bar, which also serves as an orphanage for children affected by Geostigma.
One day, Cloud is asked by the former president of Shinra, Rufus, to protect him from Kadaj, a mysterious man. Kadaj is searching for their mother and believes that Cloud knows her whereabouts. Meanwhile, Vincent Valentine is gathering information on Kadaj's plan, and the group must come together to fight this new threat.
The film combines incredible CGI animation with dramatic action sequences to bring the beloved characters of Final Fantasy VII to life once again.
