Details
In House of Sand and Fog, Kathy, a woman in emotional turmoil, finds herself homeless when her house is wrongly repossessed and sold at auction. Lester, a sympathetic sheriff's deputy who is seeking refuge from his troubled marriage, becomes involved in Kathy's situation and tries to help her.
However, their attempts to reclaim Kathy's former home clash with the arrival of Behrani, an Iranian immigrant and his family.
