In En galen natt (2010), Phil and Claire Foster are a married couple who are stuck in the monotony of their daily lives. To rekindle their relationship, they decide to have a date night where they go out and have some fun. However, after hearing that another couple they know is separating because of their routine, Phil becomes concerned that their relationship might be heading in the same direction.

With this in mind, Phil decides to make their date night more exciting. They venture into the city to try and get a table at a trendy restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant is fully booked, but Phil is determined to have a special evening. In a bold move, he takes the reservation of a couple who doesn't show up.

Little do they know, the couple whose reservation they took is involved in a dangerous situation. Two men approach Phil and Claire, mistaking them for the couple they were supposed to meet. This sets off a wild chain of events as the Fosters find themselves caught up in a high-stakes chase.

As they try to escape their pursuers, Phil and Claire discover that the men are after something, but they don't have it. With their lives on the line and their relationship put to the test, the Fosters must find a way to outsmart their attackers and make it through the night alive.
