In the animated adventure film Dinosaurier (Dinosaur) (2000), a pack of Iguanodon is attacked, and during the chaos, an egg is separated and ends up in the possession of a group of lemurs. The lemurs lovingly care for the egg and the young creature that hatches from it, whom they name Aladar.
However, when a destructive meteor shower strikes Earth, Aladar and his newfound lemur family are forced to leave their homeland. Venturing into the unknown, they find themselves in the company of a large group of dinosaurs, led by ruthless Kron and tough Bruton. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to reach the safety of the nesting grounds.
