In the movie Candy Jar (2018), two high school debate champions find themselves at odds with each other on almost every issue. However, they are forced to put their differences aside when they realize that their ambitious plans to get into their dream colleges require them to work together.
The story revolves around Lona and Bennett, two equally talented yet competitive debaters. Lona is a hardworking, traditional student who believes in following the rules, while Bennett is a rebellious, free-spirited individual who believes in challenging the status quo.
