Details
Appaloosa is set in 1882 in the New Mexico Territory and follows the story of lawmen Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch. They are hired by towns as marshal and deputy to bring law and order to the Wild West. The city fathers of Appaloosa hire them when a rancher named Randall Bragg disrupts commerce and kills three local lawmen. Cole and Hitch devise a plan to arrest Bragg and bring him to trial, but executing the plan proves to be more difficult than anticipated.
Amidst their mission, a widow named Allison French arrives in town. She is beautiful, refined, and kind-hearted, catching the attention of Virgil. Their attraction seems to be mutual, but there may be more to Allie than meets the eye. As they navigate their feelings for each other, they must also deal with the pernicious villain that is Bragg and the green-eyed jealousy that arises.
