Mama is a thrilling supernatural horror film that follows the story of Jeffrey Desange, a man who suffers a breakdown after a financial collapse and goes on a violent rampage, killing his co-workers and estranged wife. He then kidnaps his young daughters, Victoria and Lilly, and goes on a reckless car ride before crashing and finding an abandoned cabin.
In a twist of fate, the children are saved by a mysterious ghostly figure called Mama. Five years later, Jeffrey's twin brother Lucas locates the girls, who have been raised in seclusion and claim that they were looked after by Mama. Lucas fights for custody with the girls' Great Aunt, but with the help of Dr. Dreyfuss, who has been working with the girls, he is able to gain custody.
Lucas, along with his girlfriend Annabel, moves into a new house with Victoria and Lilly, provided by the institute Dr. Dreyfuss works for. However, they soon discover that Mama has come with them, and their lives are now in grave danger.
With suspenseful and chilling moments, Mama takes viewers on a terrifying journey as Lucas and Annabel try to protect the girls from the vengeful spirit that threatens their existence.
