Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005) is a comedic action film that follows the journey of Gracie Hart, a former undercover FBI agent turned media relations officer. Gracie's life drastically changed after gaining notoriety from the Miss United States pageant and her breakup with Agent Eric Matthews. Under the guidance of her boss, Director Harry McDonald, Gracie transforms her image with the help of style coach Joel Meyers and becomes a well-dressed media sensation for the FBI.
Gracie's new persona clashes with Agent Sam Fuller, who has her own anger issues. Despite their differences, McDonald assigns Sam to be Gracie's bodyguard. Their mission takes them to Las Vegas, where reigning Miss United States Cheryl Frasier and host Stan Fields have been kidnapped.
At the Las Vegas field office, Assistant Director Walter Collins wants Gracie solely as a media spokesperson, but she yearns to be involved in the fieldwork. As Gracie uncovers leads that Collins dismisses, she teams up with Sam to follow them. Joined by Joel and insecure Agent Jeff Foreman, the group must find Cheryl and Stan while evading Collins' other agents, who want to take credit for solving the case.
As their adversarial relationship evolves, Gracie and Sam must work together to save the kidnapped individuals and prove themselves in the field. Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous offers action-packed sequences and comedic moments as the team faces various challenges in their pursuit of justice.
