In the movie Grave Halloween (2013), Maiko, a college student in Japan, is devastated by her mother's recent suicide in suicide forest. Determined to find her mother's body, Maiko enlists the help of her friends Amber and Terry, who decide to document her quest for a school project. They invite their friend Kyle to join them and they venture into the forest.
