Sånt händer inte här (1950) is a thrilling drama set in an oppressive regime called Liquidatzia. Atka Natas, a secret agent from this regime, pays a visit to his estranged wife Vera, a chemist involved with a group of exiles who aim to smuggle their compatriots out of Liquidatzia. Meanwhile, Almkvist, an honest local policeman and Vera's former lover, begins investigating the suspicious death of one of the refugees.
