Details
In 101 Reykjavík (2000), Hlynur, a 30-year-old man, still lives with his mother and spends his days drinking, watching porn, and browsing the internet while relying on unemployment benefits. Despite attracting the interest of a girl, Hlynur avoids commitment. However, his life takes a turn when Lola, his mother's Spanish flamenco teacher, moves in with them for Christmas.
On New Year's Eve, Hlynur discovers that Lola is a lesbian but ends up having a sexual encounter with her. This revelation leads to further discoveries, as Hlynur realizes that he and his mother are involved in a complex situation beyond just sharing a house.
